• Held in Erie for the first time, the Governor's Arts Awards honor Pennsylvania's finest artists in each of the following categories: painting, sculpture, photography, music, literature, dance, theatre, crafts, media arts, and service to the arts.

• The awards are part of a week-long series of events hosted by the Erie Art Museum and will include a special Perry salute.
